Simple Country Furniture Projects in 1/12th Scale This soft back book is designed for the amateur miniaturist who enjoys the challenge of making their own 1/12th scale furniture but does not have any formal carpentry or joinery skills. It contains detailed instructions for fifteen projects all based on country furniture antiques that can be found in many parts of the United Kingdom. The resultant furniture can be used either in a period cottage setting or, as with the full size cousins, can be placed in a more modern setting. The projects begin fairly simply and if the reader follows them in order they will gain skills as they work through the book and will have enough furniture to furnish a small cottage. Each project has information regarding the historical use of each item.
